So so happy with this adorable coffee shop. We were greeted by the friendliest baristas who made our coffee to order. We got a maple latte and a pour over coffee with blueberry muffins and banana bread. Next time we are in stowe we will definitely be stopping here. Cannot speak highly enough about the quality of coffee and service!

Drove in, found parking, and went inside. Typical, right? Customers looked perplexed, perhaps even confused. Poor signage. No visible welcome from the two staffers who looked overwhelmed with the tasks at hand. No eye contact. No verbal welcome. Just a confounded look from the two young ladies who were coaching each other on how to make a proper cup of coffee.

Visiting Vermont for the first time and VAC&T was a nice way to spend my final morning in the Green Mountain State. The Catamount blend and zucchini bread are delicious. Good prices, friendly staff, and a great open space to relax and enjoy an ideal Vermont morning.

I took a seat at the bar. No menus, no "tasting" program guides...nothing.

When a brand new couple walked in the door, one of the staffers greeted them and took their order immediately, with a couple of us sitting back feeling like chopped liver.

Such helpful staff; such a beautiful facility. I asked very detailed questions regarding their coffees and their process. Both baristas could keep up and never lost patience. I ordered the recommended coffee and was so pleased, I bought a bag a recently roasted beans. One barista continually cleaned and polished his equipment. Clearly, he's very invested. Don't pass this place up.

My husband and I visited The Stowe area for a week, and discovered the new Artisan Coffee and Tea company. After several visits, and after having ordered Lattes, pastries, iced Americanos, etc, we can highly recommend it for the wonderful quality of its coffee, espresso, and pastries. The atmosphere is very attractive, and the two young women serving us were friendly and showed great expertise in making and serving the drinks. Watch out Starbucks!!

The two gents next to me looked at their iPhones, as if to avoid the unpleasant situation, as they did not have cups of coffee at their places. One quickly went off to use the restroom while the other sat there, rolling his eyes, as if this inattentiveness was happening much before I took my seat.

No coffee. Sparse environment. Bad service. Poor signage. Ugh.
